Hi Friends
I am Ginger. I am currently a student at the University of Denver who is about to graduate in June, looking for a job in child psychological research and just trying to balance life, home renovations, and school. Thank you for coming to my blog!

This portfolio has essays, stories, and a podcast that I have written during my time at the University of Denver.
If you are looking for harmony, read the work in my psychology section and the writing minor section. However, if you want a little rage, head to the "shorties" section to read a few short stories that don't have happy endings.
All About Me
I am 27 years old and from San Jose, California. I have a cat named Capri, but she is barely called that anymore (chonk, chonkamonk, manca-cala, mom, and various other names). We have moved from Seattle, Washington, where I lived for a year in 2017, back to San Jose, California, and now we are all settled in Denver, Colorado, where I attend school at DU for a degree in psychology.

A bit before DU: I went to culinary school for baking and patisserie at Le Cordon Bleu in San Francisco in 2014. I then became a baker at Icing on the Cake Bakery in Los Gatos, California, which is not far from where I grew up. I was a baker for about five years (I also worked at Le Panier in Pike Place Market in Seattle) before I decided to return to school. I hope to one day use my degree to help children and adolescents who have gone through abuse and trauma.
